Is he in denial of our relationship?? ?

im dating a divorced guy, his wife left him b/c she never loved him. they are friends, but he is still in love with her. however, he definitely has feelings for me as well. he sees me everyday, we spends hours together, he cooks for me, surprises me at work, etc. we are not in a platonic rel'ship based on his actions and words (texts me saying i miss u etc) yet..he denies that we are in a rel'ship...however tells his coworkers im his gf. he told his ex im really good to him....but u dont say that bout someone who is just ur friend, which is was he tells me i am. is he in denial of his developing feelings and afraid of getting hurt?
