I dont get it, how is Jericho the champion?

How was Jericho in the scramble. I didnt know he was in it. It was Kane, JBL, Rey Mysterio, Cm Punk, Batista [ he sucks by the way]. I havent been watching wwe for awhile. So glad he won!
