Ares Video To My Ipod?

I have just gotten the ipod touch! It's my first ipod that i can play videos on, so i'm new to how i put them on. I downloaded �nterview with the Vampire' from Ares, the downloading site i use. But when i try to put my movie on my ipod it sais it can't be played on my ipod. I have tried using "Videora"and "Jinx"to convert the video to ipod format but they always come up with errors before they even start to convert! Can someone help me and tell me what is wrong?!?! Thanks so muchhhh!!!!
